Basic Recon School

Members interested in joining 3rd Force Recon will be hand-picked by Sergeant Leo Tucker. Since this was an elite unit which was small in number, the spaces open in this part of the unit are limited.
Members with prior military service will be considered first but members without wishing to join will be considered.

 

Members who have excelled in their "Basic Training" and show profiency with weapons and infantry tactics of the period will have a leg up on others. Members wishing to join 3rd Force Recon, will need to show the highest level of committment to the unit and to keeping the nemeory of this unit and those who served in it alive.

Members must pass their 3 month probationary period before being selected for 3rd Force Recon and have shown themselves to be of the highest caliber and devoted to the education of the public. Members must show the highest level of military professionalism both during and after camp hours. Members must be wiling to engage the public and show initiative in their desire to educate.
Members must also show a knowledge of the tactics, training, and weapons utilized by 3rd Force Recon during the Vietnam War. Members wishing to become a member of Force Recon must demonstrate an understanding of the booby traps and other ambush tactics of the era and employed by 3rd Force Recon, and be able to put them into practice at tactical events.
